Bible Discovery Questions
God values the heart behind our giving more than the amount. He sees our motives and desires us to give cheerfully and sacrificially. He blesses those who trust Him with their resources.
The widow shows us that true giving comes from a heart of trust in God. The rich people show us that giving large amounts doesn't necessarily mean giving sacrificially.
Yes, Jesus wants us to give generously and cheerfully, not reluctantly or under compulsion. He wants us to trust Him with our resources and give sacrificially as an act of worship.
